The Leeds Childrens' Heart Surgery Fund was given a donation of £1000 recently by the Wharfedale Cardiac Club. This was from the proceeds of a concert given in Otley by Steeton Male Voice Choir and with a balance from the Cardiac Club funds.
Sharon Cheng is the Charity Director for the Fund who came along to Otley recently to receive the cheque. She said that they are currently aiming to raise £150,000 to buy a scanner for the Children’s Centre and that this generous gift from the Heart Club will greatly assist the project.
