Alexa is a BACR phase 4 qualified instructor, working in the NHS for a healthy lifestyles team. She has three years experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation and five years in a GP exercise referral programme.
Her aim in her professional life is to help people achieve their health, fitness and well-being goals.
Alexa has a degree in Health Related Exercise and Fitness which included Cardiac Rehabilitation. She also holds qualifications in nutrition and weight management.
In her spare time Alexa loves activities and adventures such as white water rafting, mountain biking and snowboarding. She has recently completed the Yorkshire 3 peaks walking challange.
Brian has over 20 years experience in the fitness industry and is a Level 4 Instructor with the Register of Exercise Professionals. He has a degree in Health Related Exercise & Fitness and runs his own Personal Training & Sports Therapy business.
After qualifying with the British Association for Cardiac Rehabilitation he now tutors and assess on the course to train other instructors. He runs both Phase III & Phase IV Cardiac Rehabilitation classes in Leeds.
Brian also has extensive knowledge of working with people who have arthritis, osteoporosis, hip and knee replacements and other orthopaedic problems. His philosophy is that exercise should be beneficial and fun.

Jonathan is a self employed exercise tutor, and is on the Register of Exercise Professionals, Level 3 Cardiac Rehab Phase 4. He has many years experience providing exercise and health related programmes for the local PCT. He has worked with clients who have a wide variety of health needs. In planning his exercise programmes for the Club, Jonathan uses a programme involving aerobic exercises, circuit work encouraging flexibility and endurance, cool down stretching and relaxation.
Members are encouraged to discover their individual exercise abilities and have opportunities to progress within the programme.
